Appearance Poor Massa because Concerned About Contract

 
MARANELLO - Felipe Massa, acknowledged that uncertainty over his future with Ferrari affect poor performance at the start of Formula One racing season 2012.

Despite previously insisting the Brazilian racer denied depressed, as indicated doubts Ferrari management on performance, but Massa now spoke up and admitted the race focus disturbed by the matter.

"In the first half of this year, I was worried about my contract extension," said Massa, as quoted by Autosport, Monday (12/03/2012). "I do not think that Ferrari will actually wait until the end of the summer before deciding line up driver next season, "he continued.

Massa also said he was aware of many vying for position as a Ferrari driver. He also said he was distracted, fearing his position before realizing to refocus.

"It is true that since I've been in Maranello, there are always rumors about me. Since my first year as a driver, has a lot of names and a lot of speculation is concerned, the same as this year," said 31-year-old driver.

"At first, I really care about the news, but then in August, I said to myself that I need to think about the race and have fun in order to promote my appearance," he concluded.
