Platini: Expensive Goalkeeper Line Technology

UEFA President Michel Platini has once again stressed he did not agree with the use of goal-line technology. According to the man's French passport, the advantages that technology is not worth the disadvantages.

"It's not about goal-line technology, but this is a question for the use of technology. Where do you begin and end a way with technology? Technology does help, but we had to limit it based on a few things," said Platini, Tuesday (12/11/2012) .

Former Juventus and Les Bleus legend was assured, the use of technology for the Champions League, Europa League and all European interstate tournament would be too expensive. Platini to prioritize the allocation of investment for coaching young soccer players and soccer development itself rather than waste money on goal-line technology.

"To realize the technology in a competition took 50 million euros ($ 600 billion). Preferably I give 50 million euros for the development of young people and the development of football rather than give it to the technology that might be useful for one or two goals per year. Price too expensive for every goal, "said Platini.

"We have supported the use of additional referees has now received international board, and with a referee who was standing a meter from the line. I think the glasses are good, he will be able to see if the ball has gone beyond the line or not," he added.

FIFA's own middle test goal-line technology in the Club World Cup 2012 which took place recently in Japan this week.
